• Structural dynamics, especially under hazardous loads (earthquake, wind, waves, etc.)
• Structural condition assessment and model updating
• Advanced experimental platform for large-scale structural system testing
• Machine-learning based methods in civil engineering
• Cyber-physical systems design towards promoting community resilience
